Emily

So Emily was admitted to the hospital Friday afternoon/evening.  Saturday they took her for a "guided CT scan" under general anesthesia, to drain some of the infections and fluid in her abdomen.  Now we wait :)  According to yesterday's CT, the abcesses are responding to the antibiotics, and she is continuing to get those antibiotics.  The plan is to wait and let the medicines do their job, and on Weds/Thurs they will re-CT her, to make sure everything is going according to plan.  Won't be till after that, that coming home is discussed.

Emily still isn't feeling well, is nauseated with no appetite and has a fair amount of pain.  Add to that, being stuck in a hospital room and she is feeling a little blue.  I'm bringing back to the hospital, a bunch of her own "stuff" that will hopefully cheer her up a little.  Please pray that the medicines continue to work, and that she can go home as early as possible!
